I’ve always enjoyed looking at liminal spaces and have wanted to make one in Blender. Unfortunately, my teacher did not allow us to model anything so I ended up cheating and just made everything dark and high contrast.
Process
I had some great ideas for this project but had to dumb them down due to my limited C# abilities.
Reflection
The lighting in the hall is glitchy in-game but not in Unity. This sucks because the game is purely atmosphere and having glitchy lighting breaks immersion. It works fine if rendered in deferred, but not in forward rendering, which I think gives better reflections and textures.
